All about Dell XPS M1530

Dell has been widely known for its innovation when it comes to the convenient tool for technology which is the laptop. Dell developed XPS M1530 right after their thirteen inch laptop, the XPS M1330. This new model provides a stronger performance and a sleeker design.

It has been known to be one of the top models in 2008 when it comes to portable computers. Weighing about six pounds, it has built in devices that include stereo speakers and wireless local area network for IEEE 802.11b and IEEE 802.11g capability. It has a 15-inch monitor but is thinner with a 1.4 inch height.

XPS M1530 processors are Intel Core 2 Duo at 2.2 Gigahertz, providing a multi-core processing technology with a 64 bit processor. It is also using an Intel provided chipset, making it more effective with a data bus of eight hundred megahertz. It provides a portable hard disk drive, with 160 GB in a 5,400 rpm.

It is incorporated with three Universal Serial Buses or USB ports, mini FireWire format and a multiformat card reader. It is capable of reading memory sticks, multi media cards, SD memory cards and Memory Stick Pro. It is also capable of Bluetooth which is one of the standards in mainstream computers. It is also built with a DVD burner that provides greater access to users who wants to burn CDs or DVDs in a most precise way. It is operational in a normal room temperature and is also built with ten to ninety percent humidity operation with a six cell battery feature. There was an option for a nine cell battery for this model; however, due to the bulk created by nine cell battery, the company chooses the six cell battery, delivering an effective power yet a sleeker look to the laptop.

Dell XPS M1530 also developed with the most enhanced graphics and is using the platform from Windows, specifically Windows Vista. It is built with touch sensitive control for an ease of access to its different functions like media playback. It provides a 12800×800 pixel resolution, making the LCD display more soothing and convenient. It offers a wide screen display compared the previous XPS M1330, making the display look even better.

The keyboard and touchpad were also developed in a more excellent manner. It is more likely similar to the features of XPS M1330, but has been built in a more firm and no flex keys. It gives a more eye catching design with a sloping look. With a sleeker slot for its optical drive and touch sensitive light up buttons and medial remote control profile, it makes it a cooler portable computer.

The performance and enhancements of Dell XPS M1530 can be best compared to the configuration of HP Pavilion dv6500t and making it a few steps behind the Apple’s T7700.

Developed by Dell that has been applying their standard philosophy when it comes to innovation, which is “design first”, the launching of XPS M1530, took the laptop technology into another level.
