I got this LG for my game room in my home and I think it was a great choice. There were so many different TV’s to select from. You have Sony, Toshiba, Panasonic, Sanyo which are all amazing but I wanted something to go good with the Logitech Revue with the Google TV. I’m a consumer of DISH and an employee I wanted to set up the Google TV for my friends or family, so when they come over they can all play around with it, check emails and chat online, whatever it is they like to do. I needed a clear picture and great audio for them and I think that my new LG HDTV gives me that.

I am on my second, I brought the first one back because the touch pad didnt work at all. CompUSA took it right back and gave me another, this one refurbished, returned by the 2nd owner and then restored again. I am using it right now but with only 15 days to trail it I am a bit nervous about its dependabiity. I caught it going bizerk with the bubble pattern screen server vibrating and moving around like it was on nueclear energy speed. I touched the space bar and it went back to normal. But I already caught it acting crazy. Not sure if that was the only time it would act crazy or just when I think its ok it will go bizerk and really ruin a project I am working on.

Bought this computer primarily for the price. It is well built, runs cool, comfortable keyboard, decent sound and quite running. The screen image is of decent quality (but not the greatest). The mouse pad design is slick and modern but takes some getting used of it (no borders), however the pad buttons are not very good and cheap to the touch. Also there is no webcam (understandable considering the price), but it is also missing a card reader which I didn’t know about it until I looked for it.The dvd player is also flimsy and delicate, just treat it with care. Considering what I paid for it ($350 after rebates) I guess I can’t complain. Overall: GOOD!

Hope you are right about battery life. I have HP Pavillion dv6500 model what holded up to 30mins charge.
I have ordered this laptop for may customer, but they changed their mind, so I hope it should be almost great for me

I just got a shiny new NB-205. Really like it so far. I notice on-line that there have been two BIOS upgrades since mine shipped from Amazon. I have v. 1.20; the newest one (about a week or so old) is v.1.60. Has anyone upgraded their BIOS? Any problems? Any reason to do it in the first place? Thanks. Please post a “comment” to this review.
